I’ve been working with CWM for the past couple of years and not had any problems till now. I’ve flashed and when I try and flash a ROM from my SD card it only opens the internal memory. I’ve read about pushing a file onto the internal while in recovery as a way to deal with it but I would rather not. I would like to fix/understand why it won’t open the external memory. Everything else works as it should. Any idea what I can do?

I have upgrade my ClockworkMod Recovery to, when i try to restore my old backups which were created with version CWM they all fail with any error when loading them with back/restore.

I have no problem loading Rom’s with “Install zip from sdcard,” then “choose zip from sdcard,”

    What should i do?
    1. Reinstall and restore backup and install and backup my rom again?
    2. load ver.

So, you HAVE to unlock bootloader for this to work?

I have same problem with no USB icon in the middle, even that usb debugging is enabled… :(

  9. It would be nice to be clear about the prerequisites for this procedure:

Does this require an unlocked bootloader?

Does this require a rooted device?

Is there a firmware version requirement?
